I guess it was just my car though...

Just to clear things up... The head man/head honcho/big cheeze at Megan USA does not AUTHORIZE the use of the incorrect Megan model parts on the wrong year cars. They are specifically made for two different fitments due to fitment inconsistancies between 03-04 and 05-06 models. Granted, the fitment differences are slight, but two systems are being used for that reason none the less. That is also why MEGAN is not selling 05-06 customers downpipes right now... Megan does not offer that fitment right now as it is still at least a month out.

However, this is off topic and needs to be discussed elsewhere. I've not subscribed to this thread, so anyone feeling the need to discuss it further, please feel free to PM me, or better yet, contact support@meganracing.com on the issue.

Back on topic...

I have photos of the MLE03 installed on a few Evo IX's with no fitment issues.

I have an MLE03 on my OWN 2005 6sp MR and have had it on there for 2 years.

I have personally installed MLE03 on every model year Evo with no fitment issues from 2003-2006.

The design changes were primarily due to hangars breaking on the catback and incorrectly sized bolts provided for install.

They added a resonator and do not require hardware for the hangars any longer.

Explain why my rear hanger is off by @ least 2" then?... no matter how you fit it?.. I was able to get the downpipe to fit correctly but no way you look at it does the catback fit with the TTP downpipe.

I am not sure I can diagnose your fitment issue without seeing it.

If you noticed an issue at the rear diff hanger location, I would have started by bolting that hangar on first, then moved to the muffler hangar, then forward.

I hope it was waiting at the light waiting to turn left onto Duvall because NOTHING pisses me off more than when people wait to turn right onto Duvall off 4th WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR OWN MERGING LANE! I lay on my horn and people still just sit there and wait...

I saw 2 BBY Evos in Beaverton around 2:30 this afternoon. The first was in Fred Meyer parking lot and it had NWE stickers on the little rear side windows. and the other was on Canyon Road BBY EVO with white stickers. I was in my Artic White Pearl '06 Eclipse GT.
