BTW - does your buddy that does paintless dent repair work somewhere during the winter? I want to say he does that as a trade somewhere, but I can't remember. A friend of mine has a little damage and I let him know I might knows a guy.
A Ford Exploder backed into me at a stop light (long story). it came to a rest landed on my hood and the front end was rebuilt. No frame damage but all sheet metal from the window forward was replaced and the intercooler was damaged.

Kyle Loy is the CarMedic business owner, his work is amazing. Hit him up at 253-720-0860.

^ouch! I got some kid that turned an abrupt right into my driver side door as I was crossing hwy2 in Monroe almost a year ago (Halloween night, actually...). He was trying to take a hard right onto hwy 2 from the left lane. Anyhoo, I heard right after I picked up my car that your car was headed in next for front-end damage.

thx for the info on your buddy!

what tactrix cable should we be going after these days? I think last I had was a 1.03b or something? I know someone selling an Openport 2.0, but he has a Subi. Is that typically compatible with our car? I believe the older versions had some revs that were universal and some that were not if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for any info!

*edit - looks like the 2.0 is what I need, just need a Mitsu-specific reflash adapter. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thx!

Yes you want the 2.0 and yes you want the adapter. You have an older Evo from what I remember so if you can find a used 1.3 then it will be cheaper. The 2.0 is just nicer because you can log directly on it using an Sd card...no need to lug a laptop around. Plus it supports the newer cars so if you ever get a X you are set.
