Hey Ryon, do you think spending 260 on APR GT3 mirrors is a good investment in the long run? Because, you know, maybe i will see the the cars better before they rear end me..

Cliffs: Thanks for the advice, keep it to yourself.

I kind of have a dilemma; With all the mod in my signature minus the test pipe, ARC intake, and Walbro FP I put down 296 hp and 292 tq in March, or sometime around then, when I was tuned at the Drift Office from MidgetSpec. My dilemma is, with those extra mods plus the ETS 3.5” intercooler with upper and lower piping, I was thinking about getting some cams as well. After my last post I’ve decided against the BCs and will probably go with the GSC S2, but will my stock clutch handle the extra power or should I hold off on the cams and get a clutch first?

Dont worry about your clutch. You wont be making that much power, not to be rude. Go w/ the S2's and get their springs too and you will be very happy w/ your next tune. Unless you havent removed your restrictor pill are hard on your clutch and slip it alot or will be doing lots of drag racing, you should be fine.

How many miles are on your car? I had 32k on mine and is still strong. Have had over 340whp for almost 30k miles. Of course I don't take it to the drag strip either. Plenty of autoX launches and track events though. Btw the restrictor pill will usually wear out the clutch faster. It does protect the drivetrain from shock though. I left mine in even though the inconsistent clutch engagement sometime annoys the hell out of me.

Actually its just the opposite, thats why people take it out. I dont know it protecting the drivetrain either... There is a reason why most people pull them. It restricts the amount of fluid that comes through so its more consistent when you take it out...

Thanks for the tip, I'll leave the stock clutch in for now and concentrate on the cams and cam gear.

Never heard of a restrictor pill. Is it something easy to remove?

The pill isnt too hard to do there is a writeup on Evomoto.com on how to do it. Maybe have someone help you blead it after, but removing it if you follow the instructions is pretty easy. And w/ the mileage on your car dont worry about the clutch for sure do the cams.

Yes it does wear the clutch out faster. Been like this since DSM days. The orifice slows the fluid causing the clutch to slip more this will wear the clutch out faster. It protects the drivetrain from shock by not letting the clutch to be dumped. Thats why Mitsu put it there. I don't mind you always correcting me either
