Do you need to remove the Donut on the Helix? Since I'm already looking for a new DP I might just get the Helix since I know it works well and I don't need to waste my time modifying it and then have to put it back.

It's pressed on to the o2 housing. The ultimate solution would be to cut it off, but if you're going to try to save it, it's gonna be a battle. Between the donut and the o2 housing, they're nearly the hottest part of the car during operation, so take into account how many times they've expanded and contracted from heat changes, it's going to be a beeotch to get off and save.

No the Butcher DP is one of the only ones that I know of that you dont use the OEM donut gasket on. Thats why I went w/ the Helix. It uses OEM bolts and springs and the donut gasket. The only downside is it is heavier, but I didnt care about that.

Anyone know a vendor that can beat gruppe-s.com's price?
Ok, I went with a Cobb.

^Not sure, try hopupracing I have used them before, they do alot of FREE shipping too. http://www.hopupracing.com/dopitepi.html Also the Megan DP is a great piece and one of the few that has a flex pipe in it too. I have installed one and it is a great quality piece for a great price. I had one on my GSX and never had a problem and this was 2 years ago.
