USAA are jews.... I had done some things in my past and even though I have been in the Military for almost 12 years they still wanna factor that into my driving record even though it had nothing to do with driving a car...

Sheeeeeeeeet...they haven't ever ceased to amaze me by how accomodating they are. I use them on home insurance. Two different houses, two different claims that they could have hassled us and denied coverage, two different time they wrote big *** checks (each check would have bought at least a new Evo at MSRP off the lot, free and clear) without a hitch.

Do you have to have been in the military to use USAA? I've heard good things about them and I've been thinking of switching.

I think uou either got to be in the Military or you have to be related to someone in the military. I could be wrong, but i am pretty sure thats right.

^ Yeah.

You need to have at least been in the military or have an immediate family relation to someone who is in the military.

I've had USAA since I've been in the military, and its kind of sad to say but I screwed over USAA more then they screwed me over. I feel bad actually.

Other banks? Bank of America, Key Bank, WaMu........ Yeah, lets just say I got no lube.

Never thought I could screw over a bank as I did though.

And they still kept me! I'm gonna stay with them for a while. I do everything through them.

A+ Bank!

I beleive they changed the policy in the last year or two where anyone can use USAA now. Years ago, it was for military officers and dependents only and if you were a dependent and dropped them, you couldn't get back in. I think they are trying to go after a larger market now, but still use a pretty stringent application criteria to keep costs down,

Insurance companies are risk assessors. Lots of tickets, low credit scores, bad grades in HS/college, criminal history... all indicate an increased chance of a major claim.
