Well yes it wasn't 106 but it was 85 inside my house and I have to sleep during the day, so needless to say it was still unbearable...

And on the contrary, I can't wait to leave, I just got selected for orders to Jacksonville, FL... looks like I will be leaving in December or January

hey guys,

i have a problem... we went on a trip last weekend. the location is about 2 hours from where i live. all was fine until i notice something in the evo... while driving home at the highway, i noticed that half of the clutch pressure was gone... so when i press on the clutch halfway, nothing happens, then the rest of it going downwards was fine. then i got a mechanic adjust the clutch so we got rid of the halfway no use pressure part. yesterday i drove the evo to work. as i was driving home, i really had to step on the clutch all the way to the floor to be able to shift. it was harder to shift too especially from stop and go. i was able to get home but when i tried driving it last night, i wast even able to put it in gear.

i called a local performance shop. they said it could be two things.

1. slave cylinder
2. clutch needing replacement

hmmm i did some research here on evom, but i will try digging for some more info...

as for our evo, its an 05 5 speed. its got 27xxx clicks soo far. we just got it a month ago so i dont know if the previous owner had replaced to clutch yet or not...

help help help?!

sleeping during the day + humid heat = no thank you! So you will be stationed in FL? Are you originally from somewhere down there, or just looking forward to getting away from the oft gray NW to the fun/sun of FL?

yeah, I know Freddie, you were hoping to get back east last year. I was just pulling your leg!

Congrats on your new orders, but sorry to see you go.

Right now they are valved for 11kF/12kR. I am going to see how it works with my 24mm Hotchkis bar. I may end up going 10kF if it still pushes a tad though. I will see how it goes.

HAH! now you have my setup, except I'm 10k/8k. (Oh and I'm valved with Vishnu/Gerrard spec) I run the bar on full soft in rear, and it gives me just a touch of oversteer under accelleration.

Are you running the 10k front and 8k rear or vice versa? You pretty happy with your DFV's so far?

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago Josel. Do this, look under your intake box for a hardline. It should be right off the slave cylinder. Right next to the hardline you will see the bleeder.Check that line. It runs to the left side right next/under your battery. It connects to a soft line. Some times what happens is that line conjunction breaks, in return every time you press your clutch pedal it will shoot your hydralic fluid right out from where those lines connect. Also make sure to check your brake/hydralic fluid. If its losing fluid then that resevoir will be low. the resevior is located in the uppermost driver side corner of your engine bay. when looking at the hardline connection under your battery have some one(mom, dad, gf who ever) just press the clutch pedal, u will know if its leaking. If u have any questions call me I'll try to help you.
