Anyone have the color code for all evo 8-9 years?

I dont know what blue I got yet. Picking the car up monday.

It is a 2005 Evo. Is this gonna be blue by you or eletric blue? Difference between the two?

 

I think I found my problem with my no 5th and reverse gayness.....I need a new transmission........****.

Tonight is the first week of the "double jeopardy" billiards bar-league that I joined.

Each player has a match in both 8-ball and 9-ball. Both using APA rules.

 

So how'd it go?

 

Double jeopardy is where you play 8 and 9 ball in the same night.

As a new member to the APA I automatically start as a ranking of 4 even though i'm really a ranking of 3. (Ranks are 2-9 in 8-ball, 2-7 in 9-ball)

Lost my 9-ball game 25 to 21 (each ball is worth 1 point, the 9 ball is worth 2) as its a sliding scale, I had to get 31 points and he had to get 25 to win....

Lost my 8-ball game against some old guy who is ranked 7. Meaning he had to win 5 racks and I had to win 3 racks for the victory...... He ran the table on the first 3 racks (meaning I got exactly 0 shots in the first 3 games) eventually I got 13 shots over 5 games (total) when he won 5 racks to 0 racks...

It was a sound beating. he was an incredible player.

I don't like how the car does not have the BBS rims on them....kinda makes me wonder what happend to them and what did the previous owner do with them.....also I was wondering if anyone might know the previous owner?

 

You mean someone put different wheels on their car, other than stock....no....

Or maybe he just didn't like the bbs's because their butt ugly, and liked the 8 wheels instead...?

 

I hope that's just the Mistu badge missing on the front and not the entire mesh... looks kinda goofy to me, i like the badge in the front. Other than that, it looks pretty clean.

Yeah that might of been the case with the wheels but makes you wonder why they are not there anymore, as in did he curb them badly? did something even worse happened to the point that he needed to get 8 wheels on there? iunno just paranoia! i have been looking for an Evo for almost a year and a half and now am really itching to get into that right one!

 

Why would anyone take off the BBS and replace them with the Enkei VIII wheels? No one in their right mind, I'd think the car's been modified, then turned back to stock with the parts from the friend's VIII. I would definately stay away from this car.

 

From experience I can tell you that Detroit autoworks is a shady dealership. I would be shocked if this car wasnt totaled in another state and prior to insurance payout, sold at auction and rebuilt or repaired, then retitled in WA (we have very lax titling laws in this regard).

As are many (most?) (all?) small dealers on Highway 99.

FWIW the mesh is there (you can see the black backing plate where the emblem mounts to).
