I was trying to think of ways that having a boxer or flat motor configuration would actually be a benefit (aside from a mechanics pay-check of course).

And the only thing that came up in my searches was if you had a flat 12 pumping out a few hundred fb of torque at high rpm.

Case in point: Alpha flat 12 used from the 177 back in the late 70's.

Or a H-16 BRM engine... but that would be hard to fit in a front engine configuration with room for kids.

Any one local around the seattle area can install an air filter intake, walbro 255 , and MBC for me? Pm with price please, or can anyone recommend any shops with good price/work for me? thanks.

Well, you live in federal way, so the closest thing I could recommend would be XAS, but their work might be a little bit over priced/retarded. So, someone in fed way hit this boy up and help him out!

Agreed with Tyler - DIY. The air filter (I assume you mean cone filter) is nothing, and the walbro will get you nice and high, and still won't be difficult. The MBC is also easy and there are plenty of how-to's for that and the others. There might not be a how-to for the air filter as it is literally that easy - assuming you have everything (MAF, appropriate adapter if necessary, etc.).

If you choose not to DIY, Ryon does work close to that area I believe, but he'd have to chime in for clarification. The Drift Office is also not too far from you and assuming they aren't busy I'm sure they do all of that too.

what? she knows how mean we are in person.......

If your 100% stock then you dont get any trash talk about power.... but now she's modding and the expectations rise proportionally.

Side note: Just dropped another $450 into a lawyer to defend my Neg2 ticket. But if it isnt dropped they apply that towards the ticket.

7 days until my court date for the ticket out on the Peninsula..... That one should be a breeze!
