Xas is wayyyy overpriced and imo shady people when they did work for me in the past. They quoted me 2 hours labor to drop my ride back in late 04' and took 6 hours to actually do it. Although they only charged me for 2.5 hours. I think what they did was told me 2 hours, but they actually didnt have time to do it right away even though they told me they are working on it. So they stalled until the end of the day to actually do it. They finally came out with my car 1 hour after the shop already closed to tell me it was done.

I just got back from Wyoming, 1800 miles and loved having 6th gear. I drove between 70 and 85mph, 3000 RPM at 70 3500RPM at 85 and averaged 23 MPG. I only downshifted to 5th two of the passes. For road trips it is really nice.
I have taken the car to the track and am planning a couple more trips this year. No tranny problems yet. FWIW.

ohhhhhh snap!! we have another local Evo owner out of Redmond! ! ! My buddy Kyle bought the Red 8 with the 9 front bumper off craigslist for 15k out the door :P He said he'll post up pics when he gets it out of the shop LOL
