GG is a real nice color. Probably the color I would have gotten if I didn't mistakenly think it was starting to be the old "flavor of the month" with all the gray G35s.

I think the silver is timeless though - there just happen to be a ton of them, especially up North! Had I actually been on this forum and realized the amount of silvers before purchasing, I would have had a GG MR (it was there at the lot when I chose AS). Oh well.

I actually went to belkirk and they wanted to charge me $900 to fix the bumper?! all it needs is the little tear to be molded over and blended $900 will get me cams and a tune so I walked away
I hardly ever see you online even, so I gotta bust ***** when I can! I agree that $900 could go to better things. I would imagine if you got an aftermarket lip for a couple hundred it would probably take care of most of what you can see anyways.

yeah I think so too, but I will still be able to see the tears in the lower bumper

take a look at the lower part of the bumper i dont think a lip would hide all that damage its torn/cracked on the lower right under the intercooler and has all that rash on the lower left under the intercooler

^damn, forgot how extensive it was. Get a real aggressive front lip, and put some canards on the sides and some stickers...so people won't look at the damage!

If anyone needs boxes or packing paper, I've got a bunch. I just moved into an apartment in Ballard and am in the process of unpacking. I usually keep them around for when I'm working in the garage so if you want some clean ones let me know.

Dynamat is super easy to lay down.

prep the area (doesnt have to be cleaned with alcohol (not beer) but it doesnt hurt).

Test fit sheet WITHOUT removing backing sheet. Press roughly into shape and cut with x-acto blade to shape.

Remove backing sheet and start with the easiest to reach spot, or the flattest spot and press down.

If you want to get super technical and ensure that lifetime adhesion then use a wooden roller.

Example: HERE

TIP: buy a pair of cheap baseball batting gloves to wear. then you can use your fingers to get the dynamat into the nooks and crannies, AND save the friction burn on your hands (or *****) as the leather slides well. Oh, and the silver will come off all over the gloves so they are usually one use only.
