How much did you pay for your evo?
I am well aware of supply, demand and market forces. I am also aware that a sports sedan is not a necessity and can be bought for the right price at the right time. Unless of course its running a premium right before Race wars...
I had a lot longer rebuttal here but realized it wasn't worth it.

I dont want to put words in your mouth, so I'll ask. You seem to indicate that a sports sedan, being unneccessary, wouldnt sell or have a market. Do you also think that these other really unncessary and aweful sports sedans should die a slow death?
1) M3 sedan
2) 5 series
3) Sti
4) Charger
5) Caddilac CTS
6) Audi A4/S4
7) Infinity G35
8) Lexus IS
Thats quite a list of cars that you seem to indicate are worthless or only have value once they are 8-10 years old.
I'm positive that i've seen at least one of those cars on the road that are current year models.... And if memory serves, it wasnt on the way to or from race wars.
I picked up a very clean 03 bby with 71k miles all stock other than a tbe and intake. I ended up paying 15,660 and that was including wa state sales tax and licensing.
Thanks for all the info everyone. My girlfriends family works for disney and as it turns out southcoast mitsubishi is fairly close to disneyland (as far as i can tell). Sounds like mid july/early august i'll be flying down there for some free disneyland (woop woop) and an evo to drive back. Thanks for all your help everyone. more waiting....i can handle it haha
