Popping noise on the right side of the car?

So the car started developing a popping noise on the right side of the car it seems. Not too sure if its front or rear or both. It pops randomly and often when I'm taking right turns or go over a bump with the right side if the car. Been trying to find out what it is so I can be prepared to budget for a fix. The car runs smooth and no vibrations at all when cruising.

Blown shocks? Bad axle? Cv joint? Bad brakes?

I had a similar noise and I check all my suspension components and drivetrain parts and found a ripped boot on the passenger lower front control arm ball joint. I replaced it with the Whiteline RCA kit and it still made some noise. After thoroughly checking everything again I found out my coilover springs were binding and causing this horrible popping/knocking sound. I sprayed some silicone spray that suppose to dry and leave a protective layer. That seemed to do the trick. I hope this helps.

What do you mean by springs binding? I'm gonna try to retighten and torque my strut bolts to see if its loose, if that doesn't do anything then ill look into the spring.

Car has 126 k miles by the way, been lowered on tein springs since 40k. Never did any maintenance on suspension yet.

Or it could possibly be tie-rods. Some people may think it sounds like a popping noise. Worth a check esp if they were never replaced with 126k on them.

It can be a few things. End links, Balljoints, I wouldnt suspect tie rod in a bump situation. Does it have anything else happening? Like drives odd (pull or wander)?

I had a weird popping sound and it turned out my strut tower brace wasn't tightened onto the firewall.

Car drives smooth turns good. Just the symptoms are on the right. No vibrations or anything else. I can replicate the problem just by turning my wheel to the right all the way

Either a spring perch bind, or strut bearings shot would be my guess(es).

Back when my Evo was new and stock, I had a full set of bilsteins + springs in the trunk at the very back. Turning left to right caused the springs to pop like crazy as there wasn't enough weight keeping everything compressed. Weight of the suspension past the rear axle was enough to cause the car to lift in the front. Silly Evos only have a 850 pound occupancy capacity, and don't take well to much weight in the car. (Ex. Large speaker box at the far back of the trunk)

So I tried to retightening the right strut nut (the nut in the middle of the front strut brace inbetwern the three smaller nuts), it just spins endlessly. The left side was dead tight. What gives?? Either the threads are stripped or something ,I'm not sure. I do have my spare set of struts, assuming the problem was the whole strut assembly itself, can I just swap the tein springs onto the new struts and reinstall?

Use an impact wrench to tighten than nut, or else it will continue to spin.
