no its a big camera. one of them canon's. and i was fighting it to focus. if my go pro hd worked it would have been cooler, but o well.

you know how it is when trying to record with a quick car, it feels weird, like you've lost control

Do you have a catchcan setup on your evo? Im still using the stock pcv hose. I was curious if i was hurting anything doing that?

That is what Aaron, Eric, Mikey (me haha), Mike (AWD), Mike (ETS) etc... has determined to be gained on the Black. The Black HTA3582 is very similar to the std HTA3582, just with a smaller hotside meaning it needs to breath; means more gains to be had from a dump.

If you have a ETS HTA3582 recirc vs. dump you are going to gain about 30hp at the 600+hp level, so figure the more restrictive Black to gain 30-40hp. I don't have a dyno graph but this is what I am always told by shop owners/tuners alike.

The dump can almost be proven by the power I was making on my Red alone. 540hp on 30psi with only 15* timing on the stock motor. We didn't get to do a back to back because we put the 02 housing on with the Red, but we can't figure out what else would allow me to make that kind of power and not fall off at all... I'm a set for life dump guy on FP stock appearing turbos. Just my 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

you almost have me sold.. actually you have me sold but im not sure if i can ignore the extra noise. im probably being stubborn though, because you can hear my car wherever i hit it so wtf is the diff? Whats shearer dump cost? $300?

you know whats motivates me having friends that are excited for one another and people you talk to with a common intrest if you make 550-580 whp and over 500+ tq on pump ill be crazy excited as i dont have e85 and ill never run meth just 93 and race gas so right now with you on a 2.3 i love your numbers over 500hp and tq

I felt like I was losing control at the 350hp level, maybe I can't drive... drunk...

I do not have a catchcan.. A lot of people tell me it is not necessary, just run the pcv hose open towards the ground and if it needs to vent it will

WTF! why not run meth? Use aquamist and get a 6 gallon tank and you wont have to refill until every 10 gas tank refills or so.... dude its one of the best investments ive ever experienced with a car. I did it to my old 1g talon back in 2007 and it was night and day. search for mastadogg2 on dsmtuners

the one in the back open???????? and block the intake off? i have mine still going into the intake manifold, thats what i was referring to.

The front side i know i can do w/e with it. Im just confused about the one on the intake manifold.. or does your magnus not even have a nipple for it?

To me, there is no difference, jmo... Noise is noise and if you are racing you want to win. I don't give a **** about hurting the guys eyes when I pass him, his car should have been faster

Ya the 2.5" is like 350 I think, but you want the 3" and it is 550ish. Trust me it is worth the extra to have a true 3" and get rid of the restrictive donut flange on the top of your downpipe. This will help increase spool a bit

ok im getting one. LOL. you have me sold. i know what its like to open up a restricted area in a exhaust system i used to own a apexi n1 tbe on my dsm LMAO. it dropped to 2" at the resonator.

I can't remember right now and I have not seen my car in two months since it is at the shop, but I think the back is venting to the Magnus v5. Don't quote me but I believe so.

Ya they are junk. I have always ran a Apexi N1 can but never the whole system. I just love the sound of the Apexi N1. I sound like a huge diesel truck

Rock that is what we are here for I will have to tell you that you won't get 550-580 on pump... 525-550 is maybe doable that that would be about max as of what I have seen so far on the Black. Good luck though. It would be great if you can break the record on that I would like to have known what Mike at AWD made on pump but I don't think he did a pump gas dyno...

ya i found a big post about it. seen you responded. i also seen a guy mod the invidia also to be 3" no 2.5" bottleneck. I think im gonna wait on it now. If i have trouble doing what I want i will pursue it tho. Right now i have a invidia o2 and cobb 3" tbe (no cat) my goal is 630whp by 37psi, if i cant get it i know what to do lol. I used to run my dsm's with no exhaust at all just a custom mini dump that connected off the o2 housing and went to the ground designed by road race engineering for me. talk about LOUD.

ADD: but throttle response was amazing and spoolup was way quicker and car used to make about 40whp more on dyno with it. and you get that loud *** whistle 24/7 that sounds like your cars on crack. people used to ask me if i had a v8 LOL.
