I run 20w50 in my motor, no balance shaft and I see 20-30 at idle. I'm not sure what it is at cruise, but I'll report back as soon as I drive the car. 90 does seem high-ish.

Tuning is underway on the car! Unfortunately, I have had some bad luck with the Buschur dp. I have spoken To Dave on it and I am gonna pull it out today and take a look at it. If I see its something simple, I will fix the leak, otherwise its gonna go back to Buschur for them to check it out. So tuning has come to a halt on the car for now.

As of right now, the car is being tuned. I am running about 23lbs so far. I know, its nothing for this hta86 haha.

Being as I have the AMS hot parts kit, the turbo has had the .82 housing swapped out for the smaller .63 housing. I was sort of bummed out about this at first, but, so far, I have no regrets. I know it will hurt me up top some having the smaller housing, but man! This thing spools fast and hits with a punch. This is only at 23lbs right now.

I can be rolling into 2nd and hit it and the tires break loose. I am excited for the high 20s on pump, then mid 30s on e85!

Have you considered upgrading your injectors? I'm running 1450's that are almost maxed out running 33psi on E85. Just food for thought.

Yea, I have though about it. I was gonna see where these got me on e85. I guess I sorta know, now lol. I will prolly run pump most of the year for now. Once I get the urge for some more power, I might jump into some 2150s and just call it a day lol. Unless I can get some for a deal, any sooner haha.

A couple new updates.

I didnt really care for the Dejon tool 4" intake. My piping has to match lol. So, either my intercooler piping had to go black, or I had to get a polished intake pipe. So I went to siliconeintakes.com and just picked up a 4" coupler, as well as a 4", 45* aluminum pipe. Went down to Oreilys and picked up the K&N. I got about $100 in this intake total.

I also decided I needed something on the trunk. I love the wingless look, so I opted for just a carbon lip on the trunk. I have ordered from baysonR(on ebay) before for a front lip. That lip fit perfect. So I went back to them for the lip. It doesnt fit quite as well as the front lip did, but I think I can work with it a bit more to get it perfect!

Next on the list: I need to invest in a good catchcan. I want to vent the motor as much as possible. So I have to start looking there. I am also gonna do the valve cover in a gloss black. Get more of a matching theme going in the bay. Black/polished.

Nothing crazy, just a couple driveway shots. Cleaned it up yesterday for the first time this year!

Well, I ordered a set of 17x9 Rpf1s. Unfortunately, everyone in the country is out of the +35 offset I wanted. Already sold my bbs, so the car is on stands for a while. I am tempted to just opt for the 17x9.5 though. Doesnt look like they stick out either. I just figured the 9" would be perfect.

Thoughts?
