Yea, the oil pressure is prolly just me being paranoid lol. I would love to know how high it goes at wot though. Id say anything over 3k, it shoots above 90 and up. I cant F' ing wait to get this thing tuned!! Shoot me your price on a walbro400 Tom. I think thats what I am gonna go with. Do I need the install kit still, being as I have a walbro 255 now? I do want a re-wire kit though with it.
better high then to low, but i forget what they do WOT. just note not to go WOT unless the cars been driven a good 10minutes and warmed up.. if you want to hurt an engine thats one way to do it. crazy how the mivec valve snapped like that. that is the one right near the fpr right?

ill pm you a price, id personally rather have a double pump setup, but its your call.

rewire kit is something you can piece together at radio shack in 5min lol. if you're rewiring you need an aftermarket FPR.. let me convince you to go with a double pumper please.

thanks for adding me in there.

Its either gonna be a nice tune on the single 255 right now till early summer when I get a double pumper, or its a walbr400 and fpr kit now and be done.

Well, I got my Buschur double pump in today. It took me a little while, but I got it. Started the car up and the damn thing is leaking at the filter. Its leaking on the side of the filter that they attach the hose to permanently. So I emailed buschur to see what I do now. I am thinking I can just cut that clamp off and get another clamp like the ones Buschur provides in the kit.

Its leaking from this clamp here. Anybody else have this issue before?? This is just a sample pic I got offline.

Any welding supply store will have those clamps. They're the ones that you use to repair the lines on an oxy-acetelyne torch. You'll need the special pliers for them, but they're only a few dollars at any hardware store.

Yea, I wonder if there must be that type of clamp there? I know I can get the regular style fuel injection clamps like the one buschur gives in the kit at Oreilys.

Well, since I am impatient, and I got no response from Buschur today, I took it upon myself to fix the leak on the filter of the double pumper. I just went to oreily and got a new fuel inj. clamp. Everything works with no leaks now!! So now its the ever so long wait for Tom to return from his business trip and start a tune!

I cant wait!!

Tom and I have gotten together to start on my tune. He initially made a few changes from my old hta green rom to get started. Before, my car would start and then immediately die. Once I would fire it up again, it would run but bog down pretty bad for a couple sec ever so often till warm.

Tom and I worked on the idle, startup and got my fuel trims in line last night. I went and took the car for a drive today and DAMN!!! The car runs so well on the street so far! I get a perfect idle everytime I come to a stop and no idle surges or drops. The car fired right up today and purred like a kitten while warming up. So far, I love this increase in response on the 2.3. I havnt been able to do any WOT yet, but just driving through town spiritedly, this is the way it should have been stock! lol I can see where the guys on smaller stock frame turbos are coming from with a 2.3 also. I cant imagine a smaller stock frame turbo like the red, hta gree, or bbk full would be like on a 2.3.

Should be able to do some more tuning with Tom today! For Tom.

I did get the car on the interstate today. I had an oil pressure related thread going a few weeks ago. Its about higher than normal pressures. 92psi give or take, is what I am seeing on the interstate at 3k rpms doing 70mph. Temp on the car was normal, and its about 50deg outside today. Also, its 20w50 motor oil. This seem right? No bs by the way.

I am seeing old threads of guys saying their pressure on the interstate at 3k is about 80, give or take. Considering my BS are removed, im guessing its normal?
