Tsidrift1: Evo IX Project.
That carbon lip that was on the 8 bumper was a full replacement.
Well tonight, I got the rear diff fluid drained, pumped in new diaqueen. Tcase has got new diaqueen(filled from drain plug, then filled the trans with amsoil manual trans fluid. Got the radiator full of 50/50 antifreeze, then dumped in the Brad Penn 20w50. Just waiting on injectors!

They changed it from a DSM. If you do it the way it goes now the timing belt is constantly trying to tighten the pulley where on a 6bolt it would try to loosen it. I know many people myself included have done i the wrong way and it worked fine. Just make sure to tq that bolt. 45lbs is a lot of tq.
Well guys, car started last night!!!
It was running a bit rough and lean, so I did a boost leak test this morning. Had a pretty good leak coming off the coldside of the intercooler. Got that fixed up this morning and fired it up again. Fuel richened back up close to normal. The current map on the car was for my old motor, with the ams intake manifold. So Tom sent me a new map to load into the car with changes for the current setup. Hoping to do some driving tomorrow!
I wont begin doing WOT tuning till I get the first 500 miles on it and do an oil change.

Contact me today Anthony. I was sleeping all day today from over doing myself i guess over the weekend with 24hr tuning sessions almost lol. trying to make everyone happy and give them power with stock like drivability

tsidrift1, brad penn has break-in oil. Ever consider using that? Like you, I just used the normal 20w50 for my build.
Well guys, no updates yet. I have been very lazy with the car lately. I managed to get some cruise miles on the new motor a few weekends ago. With my reception back home for family and friends and the heat, I havnt had much motivation to touch the car. The car has about 170miles on it so far, its running just fine. Still needs some tweaks with the tune as far as driveability.
Im a little nervous to hit the gas full throttle, being as last time I did that, it cost me $6500 lol. I plan on doing some tuning with Tom this week though.

As of now, the pump gas tune is finished on the car. It made a conservative 500whp and 424tq on VD. I didnt wanna push the pump tune too much. I want it to be able to run on the pump tune on virtually any 93 octane and/or 92 if thats all I could get wherever I might be lol.
E85 is in the car, base map has been sent. It starts and runs, a little lean at idle, have to adjust for that, then its time to make some real power with the car!!

and yes the 93 oct tune was beyond conservative extremely low boost and the car made power very very easy.
Tuning is pretty much wrapped up! Cant wait to tear the track up with my newly built beast!
