Tsidrift1: Evo IX Project.
I'm def swapping to a non acd tcase, which so far I havnt had any luck finding one anywhere.
Cluster.....ah, prolly not, I'd rather keep my cluster unless I find a cheap one. The button will eventually get a blank one in it's spot.

Jon @TRE can switch the one side of the case from acd to non acd. Message ronniesize on here I know he just had it done
Good progress on the wiring. I recently did a bunch of wiring work also, for sure takes some time.
Just curious, have you had problems with this block before? It's possible there's a galley that's clogged or blocked somewhere. There's a local guy in my area that has rebuilt his 3 times and keeps eating the same bearing. He's getting the block magnafluxed and cut into sections until he finds the issue.

This is only the first time this block has given me issues. I just thought it was kinda funny it was a #4 rod that snapped last year, then this year it was a #4 rod bearing. I did reuse the crank from the motor last year that threw a rod. Buschur had it checked out and said it was good to go. I didnt see anything that stood out on it when I pulled it a few weeks ago, at least with the naked eye.
I am handing the block, pistons and rods over to Devin @ Boostin this weekend for him to redo it. Hoping the rods and pistons are still good to reuse. I am gonna buy a new oem 100mm crank though and some new piston rings and bearings.
Any Updates on this build ? Been back and forth about getting a Buschur 2.3RPM short block. For every 5 great things I hear about Buschur Racing, there is 1 horror story. I just want an engine that will last at 700hp daily driven, drag, and track for at least 4 years. Is that too much to ask?*insert sarcasm*

I ended up starting a whole new build thread when I started over. I ended up going with a Boostin 2.3L and I love it. They are somewhat local to me, so there was no shipping involved and Devin is the one that tunes the car as well, so I thought it would be a good idea to get their motor.
The car has went through a ton of changes over last year. New motor, New paint, Milspec harness etc. I busted my *** last year lol.
As for the Buschur motor, its up to you. I will never purchase anything again from the guy, but thats just my opinion. The way he handled business with me after the motor spun a bearing wasnt very professional in my opinion.
New build thread here, if interested lol

Thanks tsi! I'm glad that you found a new, reliable combination of parts to get you through the racing days. I wiill definitely check out your new build thread!
I am a firm believer that if done right, our cars don't have to be money pits. We just have to do the research.
