Great updates, awesome project. I did the same with my FIC 2150's. Very quick turn-around.

Well...now its the waiting game lol. I made my final order before I leave tomorrow. I got 10qts of Brad Penn 20w50 on the way, Amsoil trans fluid, a used starter, a new hood pop rod with clip and a longer remote oil sender line.

Off to Florida tomorrow to get married on Friday! Then its back to the grind on monday and to get this car running and put some miles on her before the shootout!

Congrats and hope you have a great wedding.
Glad I found this thread of yours. My motor is a Buschur getting built now. I was wondering if putting the t-case back in before the motor and trans would be a good idea or not. I think I will slip it back in after now. I removed the tail section and pulled the eng and trans forward with a camlock strap to slip it out. I think I'll put it back the same way but with a little help from a buddy this time. Good luck and keep up the great work.

Intake is already grounded haha.

I just got back from Florida. So I might sound soft here, but I had a great time, and the wedding was awesome! We couldnt have had better weather. The days before it was so damn hot on the beach. Friday came along, it was high 80s, little humidity and sun shining. It was a great night with family and friends.

So now I am back. On my way home I was kinda running through my car on hat needed to be done. For some reason, I thought about my timing, and then I thought, I spun the tensioner pulley the wrong way. The dsm days came back to and I spun the pulley clockwise like a 1g. Now its tensioned and everything is good, but I dont wanna chance the pulley being the wrong way, so I gotta rip the timing back apart tonight and rotate the pulley counterclockwise. WELCOME BACK!!! I guess haha. work as soon as I get home lol.

I got my brad penn oil, my starter, trans fluid and my remote oil line. Should be a busy and hopefully successful week in the garage!

there is no way that pulley is on wrong if it put tension on the belt. also if you did the grenade slide through technique on the hydraulic tensioner then you're good to go. don't waste your time on checking that pulley!!!!!!!

nice spot for a wedding i like that. it is the same as a dsm. the only difference is the dsm is on the other side of the car lol.

It might not have mattered. I just didnt want to chance anything. On a 1g dsm, you rotate the pulley clockwise. On a 2g dsm and an evo, you rotate the pulley counter clockwise. I use the grenade pin method. It was able to slide it in and out with the pulley both ways and the tension on the belt was correct. So again, it might not matter, but I know the correct way on the evo is to rotate counter clockwise. I already pulled it apart yesterday and changed it lol. Took me a couple hours. I would rather spend the time, instead of wondering the whole time if that would affect something.
