Sort of lol. Its been coming along pretty slow; taking a lot longer than I/we thought due to life just getting in the way and time conflicts and whatnot. Hopefully this coming weekend the motor will be going in the car finally.
A few things that happened are: I got an Autometer Phantom that has vacuum and reads up to 45psi, ditched my Tial QR for a Q, got rid of my Buschur 84mm recirc intake and got an STM 4" SD intake pipe with filter and found a 4" - 3.25" reducer coupler on ebay. I also brushed off the powercoat on the MIVEC TURBO letters on my valve cover. I also am no longer going to be using that valve cover due to a sh*t ton of crap being in my baffles from when my friend powdercoated it for me. He did a nice job on the coating, but the prep not so much. So rather than take any sort of chance I bought a new valve cover and sent it immediately over to Tirado for coating. Here are some pics I snapped over the last few weeks.
The purdy Tial

The STM 4" SD Intake

One of my friends came by and helped me push the car out of the garage and turn it around and then I washed it one day because I was bored and its been dirty for about ten months.

Fubar'd valve cover

Cleaned the crap out of it, but decided on a new one anyway.

Took a shot that Ive wanted to take for a loooong time after cleaning it and turning it around.

I can relate to life getting in the way. I had planned for my car to be finished in April. Here is september and I'm hoping my car gets finished by next week. At least the motor is in the car. I hope it gets done so bro.

Me too! Veerrryyy soon finally.
No prob thank you!
Update....
Its in!!! We hit some setbacks as usual, the bolt in the ball joint stripped so I need to go get a new one. All thats left tho is installing the turbo/o2 housing, connect the downpipe, run the vacuum lines, install the radiator, do the fluids, bleed the ACD, prime the oil, load in the basemap, and then its ready to go.

as long as that wastegate is adjusted right it should make over 650 no problem easy. i got that 2L up to 620 so a 2.4L will be lots more. man it took you a long *** time to get this car back up and running (almost) damn!
