I know man its been over a year so far. Way way too long. An easy 650 with a lot left in it would be nice. What do you mean by the wastegate tho...as in preloaded fully or with the new actuator without the coil binding issue?

your car looks nice though man.. and glad to see youre doing all your own wrench work! it feels good after its all back together knowing you did it all yourself.

Thanks dude! My friend Eric did 98% of the work. I can do small stuff, but he has an incredible amount of knowledge that I really dont have, hes the kind of guy that can smell a bolt and ninja throw it to the where it needs to go. Hes got 2 kids and he was still able to help me with this and it means a lot to me. I want to learn though so he's a good teacher.
Right now Im trolling around trying to find torque specs because Im putting the coolant/oil fittings on the turbo and Im gonna get the turbo and o2 housing on tomorrow, connect the downpipe, then I will put on the radiator and then work on running the vacuum lines. After that its simple stuff and its done!
One problem Im having is I cant figure out why my Buschur front center member wont line up with the bracket on the trans lol.

I have no idea regarding the buschur piece, i still use the heavy *** front cross bar lol.
o wait actually you know what.. you mean the mount holes not lining up with the bracket right? you need to put the bolt through first then attach it to the car.. that is always a tight fit in that area.. its normal. (front trans mount)

subscribed!!! I am doing the same build to my car I hope yours get done before mine because im curious to know what kind of power you would be making plus what kind of times. good luck and keep up the good work
Where do you plan on sourcing the E85 from?
If you have an NJ-connect, out with it, man!
I have been waiting for this stuff to come to NJ (in more than two gas stations) forever!

Central jersey? They have some e85 in the Linden/Elizabeth area I'm pretty sure.
As for the OP he goes up right into NY to get it. I've gone with him before. But from central jersey it would probably be to far for you.

The current plan is to get the car finished either tomorrow or Thursday and have it done 100%...even though there isnt such a thing as 100% finished haha.
Vacuum lines are all connected, which I needed to macgyver together since the barbs on my intake manifold are huge compared to the majority of the vacuum barbs on other parts of the car. So all that needs to be done now is replace a stripped bolt in the suspension (balljoint to knuckle), do all of the fluids, run the turbo's oil feed line, bleed the ACD, install the radiator, connect the downpipe, and thats pretty much all of it!
Heres my valve cover from Tirado, came out very nice.
