Changed the Oil in the Junk box and gonig to give it a bath this week. We are planning on getting back to the track next weekend with the car then its break time till the Shootout in August! Going to a different track this weekend where the cut hooks up better and i run my quickest/fastest times. Stay tuned!

I didn't do any passes, just had it parked in the field they call a parking lot lol, gotta love the redneck worn out dragway we have.

 

Is your Evo white? I think I saw it parked in the field when I was pulling in. GLD needs to re-do that track. I like GLD but the track is getting worse and worse. My car was having bouncing, spinning and traction issues that day lol. But i still had fun and still managed to make some consistent times.

 

Yea mines white, and at least it wasn't 100+ like it was all week. Was hot but not as hot as it has been. I'm a tech at a dealer so that hot weather was like death, 120 easily in my stall. But everyone was running solid times for the heat... That talon was insane, haven't seen that one run before. I am going back on the 29th for some mopar show and I might run mine then, just don't want to launch it.

 

Yea i saw your car while i was pulling in. The weather was still hot but like you said the outside temp was not over 100+ If i remember right it was around 90. It was still hot as hell lol. The track temp was a 128 degrees which was not the best thing for these cars. We ran some consistent times, however my car was having traction and bouncing issues. Going to go to Byron most likely next weekend. I run my fastest and quickest times there so will see what happens. Hopefully get the car down to a 8.8 with the way it sits. RSD was tonight and I was going to go up there tonight but i couldnt make it.
