Joey what track you plan on going to over the weekend?

 

Im thinking we might be going to Byron this weekend. I Dont know if it will be Saturday or Sunday though. Weather looks pretty good for the weekend.

 

I was thinking of going too but I noticed that on both days there are other events besides test and tune. How many passes do you think we'd make? I feel like the wait would be very long between runs

 

They pretty much have events at every test and tune at byron. If you get there when they open around 10:00am - 11:00am you will get plenty of runs in. This weekend they dont have Major events, I think Sunday when I'm going is chicago garage. Weather

When I went to Byron last time with Jason I was there from 10:30-6 and only got 3 runs in. I didn't get in line until about 11:30 so maybe I would've gotten 4 in. I really want to get back out there also but Im hoping to get out to GLD before the season is over. That track always works for me. Byron not so much

 

You probably went when they had a big event. I've been there when I could've made over 10 passes if I wanted to, then I've been there when I only made 3 passes as well. They don't have big events this weekend. If you get there at some point in the morning u will get plenty of runs in. I like GLD as well, but the track at Byron is better IMO. Even though I did run 8s at GLD I just like the consistency of Byron better.

 

I agree with a car like yours Byron seems better. Yes there was some kind of bike shootout I think so it was busy when I went. Maybe I will try to make it up there also. Ill see how my schedule is. If I break something Ill just load it up in your trailer so you can follow me while I drive the Junk box home

 

I'm stoked to get back out there man. I haven't been back to the track since the Shootout. Sunday should be good for racing man, you should def try to make it out no worries at all, I'll just drive the junk box home

Most likely Ill be there man. Not a lot of weekends left of racing till that snow comes lol. Cant wait man, I've been itching to get back to the track. I feel a new personal best coming soon!

That'd be cool if we have descent group out there. If weather permits, I'll be at a track this Sunday

 

Sunday is forecasting to be a beautiful day for racing! My mani is still not fixed (gotta take care of family first) so probably not much point in me running. But I may try to make it out to at least watch you guys run

 

Yea I dont think Chicago Garage will be a big event. This late in the season, they normally dont have that big of events besides last weekend the wheel standing compeition.

Its going to be a perfect day for racing. I plan to get there around 10ish and be there most of the day. We all will get plenty of runs in. Ill be there for sure


It sure is man cant wait to get back out there. 65 degrees and Sunny! Sorry to hear about your manifold man. Which one are you running? I believe i have a stock manifold available that you can get ported if your interested. If you can make it, ill see ya Sunday!

 

It's the MAP short runner. I thought about going to a ported stocker but I know I'll lose a little bit of power if I do, so I really want to stick with the MAP. Just need to get these two small cracks welded. Hopefully I'll see you guys Sunday!

 

Ian, doesn't map offer a warranty on them?
