Thanks, mang! I hope it does too
. The car runs awesome. Since the idle was put in open loop, it hasn't missed a beat yet in the first 500 miles. Not one stall, hiccup, or anything.
Adam, do you happen to have a degree wheel? I would really like to degree my motor so I know exactly how far I'm off before I start WOT tuning.

I do. I'll have to find it, but your going to have better luck snagging one off summit.

However, the only reason I'm degreeing my motor is because of my Fidanza Cam Gears......Maybe I'll just pick up some normal cam gears and do the ole 3.75* deal.....

Fidanza's castings have been randomly different throughout their entire time of production. On my 2.0L I had them in the Evo hole, and to even get them to run the ignition timing had to be completely wack. Put 'em in the DSM hole and they worked perfect and were perfectly in time.
So, I THINK that they're on when in the DSM hole, but will never know for sure until I degree the motor.
Here's another post showing how the set that the had was off in both dowel holes:

had to go check these fidanza gears. I was certain we used the DSM holes and now I remember why. these fidanza gears are a night mare. they arent correct using either hole. the evo hole makes the mark off one half tooth. the dsm hole makes the mark a full tooth off. thats why I used the dsm hole. just move the mark over one tooth. cams are far closer to straight up that way.

I'm curious as well. For starters I'm going to do the AEM gears and just advance them 3.75* each, and later when I get some extra time will degree the motor and see what exactly it comes out to.I'll surely post up when I do that! Fingers crossed the normal cam gears will solve this mess.
