Blue91lx, love the simplicity of the mods. Should make for an ultra reliable and fun daily.
I am wanting to know how a 30R is on the 2.4L setup is

No worries about the thread jack . And thank you! Planning to enjoy the car as much as I can with the least problems possible.

We all know 4g63/64 trumps all .
The 63/64 setup is the best

So don't know if you will be going to a 30R setup or not? Going to stick with the stock Frame turbo for a while? I myself am personally thinking of going with a GTX30??R setup on my 2.4L 10.0:1 compression setup I am working on I want quick spool and wondering where this can max out power and boost wise on a 2.4 If its not what I want my other car is going to be perfect on the 30R and needs one so I really wont be out anything for the turbo since I would be getting one anyhow

Stock frame turbo on a 2.4L is just going to be stupid low end power and loosing so much on the top end from what I think will happen Still though I love the low end power and you can get a lot of it with these motors

If this is for me, No. I'm sticking with the GTX3076r, car is going to be a daily/track **** so I'm looking to make reliable power with mega-fast spool.

You know it, I'll never own another EVO again. One was enough, I'm on my 8th Subaru, keep building them/selling them and making a profit!

Yes, will have it finished this week!

2013 STI crank, Cosworth 9.2:1 Pistons, Manley Rods, ACL/King Bearings, Manley Valves, Manley Valvesprings/Retainers, 04-07 GSC S2 Camshafts (AVCS Deleted), Brian Crower Cam Gears.

Every component has been weight-matched and balanced, and I mean EVERYTHING. Then the ETS stuff posted a page back is whats going on the outside along with my crazy fuel system w/surge tank and vacuum pump breather system

Those are just more rivet holes, in case your muffler has a long tip () and it needs more support.

Your a drainage.

Ha! I was like, "What in the world exhaust is that?" I was about to buy one of those jokers if it improved performance.

Honestly, if I did go T3 I would go HTA3582, as I don't think the 3076 has enough additional spool over the 3582 to make it worth the top end grunt of the 3582. I was actually going to go T3.............

I sold my T3 kit last week and bought a daily driver so I don't have to kill the Evo driving it to Indiana and back for school!

Turbo kit for car....I'll take that .

I feel like a 30r on a 2.4L is really going to take a hit up top, just like a stock frame would (if not worse than a Black/EF4). I'm going to upgrade to a Black or EF4 when I do upgrade. I have a fairly nice setup for the stock frame units so I figure I might as well utilize what I have, and if I need more power I'll go T3 in the future.

Heck yeah. I'll have to take you up to the Weatherly Hillclimb roads (up by Eckley's Miner Village, aka where I ride the coal mines) once the cars are done. They close them down and use them as a road course once a year!

I'm still waiting for someone to sponsor me so I can get a turbo upgrade, as this guy's out of money for car parts! Until then I'll just wait for your Scooby to break and then challenge you to a race .

My AMS exhaust with the Vibrant muffler came off of my parts car and the tip was damaged, so it was either that tip or a Greddy tip that was some ridiculous price that I didn't feel like paying!!

I'm from the Montgomery Country area. I'm (un)proudly a Souderton grad. I'm often on in 611, as that's THE road to street tune on .

I'm normally around Harleysville, but often am in Montgomeryville, Quakertown, etc.

You should stop by after work one of these days and help me get my POS figured out lol.

I can't get the wideband to read in the ECU so it's hard to tune. I've been fighting a high idle too, and it only goes off when I'm in open loop.
