Talking My Evo 8 build

So finaly after weeks on end of research and questions (thanks to everyone that helped me) i think ive decided on what im doing with my 03 summer DD Evo8 it only has 31k miles

right now i already have a few things on the car and made 309awhp at 22lbs (ran out of fuel at the pump that day) and that list consist of:

AMS FMIC W/LICP and part UICP
HKS Intake with HKS beehive looking filter forgot the name but it sounds amazing at spool even on the stock turbo and I live in Wa state by Seattle it rains all the time got caught having to drive in horrible rain and the intake got soaked so i pulled it to make sure no water went through and it was dry as a bone on the other side of it i love this intake.
HKS full TBE with no cat
unknown name tubular Exhaust Manifold
turbo xs MBC
Tial 50mm BOV
Walbro 255 high flow pump (sitting in closet)
AMS Underhood shifter bushings and AMS shifter bushings inside the car (in closet with pump)
Defi In dash 60mm tinted gauges (look amazing) boost, EGT, Oil pressure.
Glowshift gauge pod; Fuel Pressure, Oil Temp, and A/F with data logger

Im still in Iraq that's why stuff hasn't been put in yet. But hears what i decided to do right now like i said i kinda DD the car its just to much fun and awesome to say nahh ill ride in the 2g lol and my goals as of now were to make between 400-470 on pump, I also want to be snappy i really dont plan on doing any road racing and maybe running down the track a couple times just to see if i break into the 10s just want a snappy DD. so here goes the list i came up with and please if you guys have any experiences with these parts let me know if im doing the right thing

MAP EF3 port and polished with 3 inch surge housing and ceramic coating
Unsure of Exhaust mani just yet?
Map 02 housing 02 dump?
GSC S2 cams- Check
GSC Beehive springs and retainers Check
ARP headstuds
UPDATED FIC 1150 Hi-Z
Competition Clutch HD street disc clutch kit (sprung)

now when i can save my pennies i would like to get the AMS Exhaust maifold for right now im just gonna stick with what i got. like i said its not set in stone yet so if you have any suggestions please send em my way. The reason i went with the Red over the black like i was going to in the beginning was after what ive read the Red has great mid to top range power so really nice and snappy for DD but not over aggressive like the Green but not as laggy as the black so it was kinda in the middle i figured it would suit my power goals with the cams very well. well if you guys have any input please feel free to let me know this is my first evo build so its new to me thanks guys for reading and i cant wait to get back from Iraq to start my little project o and i havent ordered anything yet im being patient have a good day

O2 dumps can get rather annoying on daily driver cars (my opinion). Although it will allow for slightly higher HP numbers, it boils down to preference.

It wouldn't affect the BOV whatsoever. They both just make a lot of noise and also serve a purpose at the same time.

There are plenty of vendors offering vented and recirculated o2 housings. It wouldn't hurt to call and shoot some **** as to what you really want out of you car and they'd hook you up.

I would go with a bigger injector they are not that much different in price and the last thing you want to do is run out of injector some day down the road for a e85 or race gas tune and then you will have to lose money on those to buy more. I put 1450's in my car and have zero drivability issues as a DD what so ever and im only a little or 400whp. Just my 0.02. Now the 2100's etc are major overkill but a little overkill in good just incase the mod bug really gets a fever!

no problem sir! I just know that fp and some corn fuel would easily tip 500whp probably more like 525 with a good tune and 1000cc would scare me personally but it may be fine. But for $20 may as well get some insurance!
