Love the color! Sorry the motor let go that sucks. IX ECU/Harness swap as well for the mivec transplant? Any pics/details on how that went for you? You kinda glossed over that part

thanks bud.

the IX ECU/Harness swap was very easy. probably one of the more straight forward things about my build lol. i removed the old engine harness, by completely unplugging it in the interior, and in the bay. then i put the new IX one back in and plugged it all up. You also have to change the immobilizer and ignition with a matching IX key (unless you just disbale the immobilizer in your IX ecu, which i dont reccommend). there are only a few extra plugs on the IX harness (most of which are for MIVEC). also there are 3 plugs that are located after the MAF, up near the driver side headlight area that go to the ACD pump that you do not.

and heres a little peek at the setup.

not much progress has been made since i last updated. ive just been fixing little problems here and there. all im waiting for as of now is my oil feed line (more specifically the oil filter housing bolt that adapts to the -4an fitting).

Here is a pic with my carbon fiber pieces mocked up. i really like the clean look of the CF..
mocked up my carbon fiber pieces and waited for my oil line tht never came...
