Did some more work to the EVO over the past few days.. Not much left to do before she is being strapped to the rollers at Dynotech Tuning.


Heat wrapped my down pipe.


Installed my exhaust (or lack thereof) lol.. Straight pipe 3", no cats, resonators, or mufflers.



I also made my own intercooler pipe beading tool.

And beaded my piping.

 

And the engine bay is about 90% complete

The tuning day has been officially set for next week, 4/29. I am extremely excited for Jamie at Dynotech to work his tuning magic!!

 

Alright ladies an gents. The tuning part of the build has begun, but not yet completed. The car started pissing oil (from tht "marvelous" AMS oil pan. Yes I know I was warned about it, I tried it anyway an it didn't work out. Lesson learned) an then I blew a coolant line an pissed coolant everywhere. So tuning was cut short. I have a few other little kinks to work out also (front o2 sensor had some slight issues, catch can setup, intake placement, etc...) but long story short, the car made 400hp at 14psi and only revving to 7K RPM on a mustang dyno. Not too shabby.

So the car will be revised, the problems will be fixed and some further mods will be made. Hopefully I can be back at DYNOTECH TUNING in about a month. By the way, Tyler, Brian and Jamie at Dynotech were absolutely phenomenal ! These guys went above and beyond for everything. I was extremely pleased with my experience at their shop and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go their. Their customer service and care is outstanding.
