well, the day ive been waiting for months has finally come! i started her up today and damn did it feel good!!!!

she made some noises at first, as expected, but then it smoothed out an sounds soo beastly.. heres a quick video of her idle.

i have to fix do a few more things on it before its ready for the rollers but hopefully itll be Dynotech Tunings dyno in 2-3 weeks. ill post the #'s as soon as it makes them.

Looks good, but I hope you didn't run the car for too long since from what I saw in that video you didn't have a radiator nor coolant/water.

 

I only let it run for like an hour or so... Hahaha JK, it only idled for 2 min then I shut it off.

 

Great set up.. I'm going for a similar build. Can't wait to see the Dyno results. Who's doing the tuning if I didn't read past it?

And your on ctboost right?

 

thanks, and good luck. its alot more work than it seems. when i look through my build thread, and other peoples also, it seems like fun and games but in reality its alot of headaches and stabs at your wallet lol.

Wow, I'm pretty sure a friend of mine sent me a picture of this car when they bought VW/Audi parts from (presumably) you a year or two ago.. small world

 

What's the status on this build, any updates

 

Not many updates. I haven't really been working on the car lately, I'm waiting for some better weather to motivate me. But recently I replaced my starter, made all my custom IC piping, and got my axles, all part of the boring stuff that goes into a build
