Update.. got the car finished up and everything ready to drive it .. got her cleaned up .. and at about 4 took her out to put some miles on her .. did some serious driving got about 300 miles on her and she just responded so well to everything .. turbo sounds happy, engine feels strong, trans smooth.. and the few psi of boost i threw at it .. we just loved, need about 40 more miles and then ill be set for my tune on friday

getting done up by my tech for taking my keys home lol

ok so time wrap up this build thread ... got the motor all broken in .. too down to JMS to get the tunes on friday .. had some work done, did a double pumper walbro 400/255.. buttoned her up and threw her on the dyno .. she made 575WHP and 500TQ.. it got late so we decided to do the pump gas tune on sat .. so i crashed with a buddy and went to the shop the next day .. this was a long day.. in between working on other cars, my tuner kinda tosses the notion at me .. hey if you want to try and go for 600 on speed density nows the time to try it out ..i agree and we get to work on setting her up for SD .. so JMS being the bad *** shop they are .. we strap the car down at 1am and get slamming on the tunes .. they promised me id get tuned that day so they made it happen .. 1st pull picked up instant power .. 588/495... car sounded strong .. we kept at it .. goal was 600, we ended up just shy on the dyno with 593/508.. car was pulling strong. we then took her for a road test .. drained the gas and threw in the poison .. made 471 on pump gas .. not bad for a conservative gad mileage tune lol. we finally got her off the dyno at 4am.. JMS is an amazing shop and stood by the name and work like no other .. cant recommend this shop more highly .. they are the best. all there is to it. oh and 25 mpg is too bad for a 600 hp car lmao .. cant complain .. SD conversion was a totally success .. car runs amazing and smooth as hell.

break in over tune ready!!

chilling pre tune

dyno RD1

Preped for SD

Final Numbers on SD E85 and 93

hell yea 10s all day .. should be an issue at all .. i was doing 11.5 with 410 lol .. so this should net be a problem at all .. launching is a whole new game now though .. that turbo gets off the line way different than the stocker .. so gotta work on that, but once i work out all the things with the set up .. itll be low 10s for sure

So next update we have isnt the good kind

... was out racing .. and ran into some serious issues ... I was running a GSXR 1000 and at 180mph my head lifted and it blew both the radiator hoses off the radiator ... and at 180 MPH that is no fun .. esp with 10 bikes that i was raping behind me haha... so i tore it down and come to find out not only did the head lift .. the HG, head and block melted ...

the head is TOAST, the HG DONE, and block is gonna be ok after being decked, and the rotating assembly is 100% nothing bent. broke, or spun .. so im in the process of tearing it down now and bringing her back to life !!

So lesson learned .. dont reuse standard ARP head studs 3 times haha and expect them to be happy with 41 psi and 750 hp ...

Holy smokes. I can't even imagine how much you've had to put into the different setups on this car!

Best of luck to a fellow Texan. I'll be watching this thread!
