Thanks Jason. Yeah I know you definitely could have for sure. I have fun doing little projects like this though on the car. I think they are the most fun

There's a local one in Michigan called the "Michigan Mile" at an airport. 1 mile long with .7 mile shut down.

I'd probably be down but I have so many events going on between late may and early June including the Buschur sport compact shootout and a wedding down in NC lol.

You definitely have to come to the sport compact man! It's a blast.

Also, I think I may have to put a project log thread up of my daily driver that I brought back to life from being smashed

I have a few friends going to that. It didn't sound like a competition to me so I had no interest in running my car hard just to do it. I might make a trip up to hangout though.

Block offs look good scott.

So I'm switching from the AMS f1i to Curt Browns extreme 70mm manifold. It's going to make more power and TQ before 6500, then either stay close or loose power up top. I am doing a back to back comparison to see the true changes in the powerband.. If it was a 2.3 or 2.4l i'd consider keeping it. People have gone high 150mph on these so it should work quite well (with buschur basic ported buschur and AWD have gone 159/160 - STM went 150 with 6262 on their ported manifold).

a) i miss the stock manifold, having everything on top is nice
b) im willing to sacrifice a little power for it
c) i need money for another area of the car that is another update I'll have soon.

here's some pics, came in the mail today
