Thanks Junior. Looking like tuning will begin this week. Wish my aem ems v.1 had better mivec resolution right about now but it's what I have and what I'm going to be running it seems.

Thank you. Try not to attach a figure to it all. Manifold and all things related to the turbo kit were made by Collin of Toxicfab.

Due to time constraints I was unable to bring the car to the dyno and we had to tune on the street. Since e85 is not available in Panama I decided to do a 93 octane tune and a c16 tune. During what I was told was a final pull on the 93 octane tune the car blew out the freeze plug under the thermostat housing and the tuner had to return home. Hoping to fix freeze plug tomorrow and send them a log to verify safety of it all. Man I'm ready for ONE thing to go smoothly with this whole project

Good news is that after obtaining a new oem freeze plug today I was able to see the problem. The one installed by the machine shop was too deep in measurement by like at least 3 mm. Once I realized this I could actually see where the original one they had installed had impacted the inside of the block preventing it from fully seating with its taper. New oem one installed with the special Snap On tool and red lock tite Will keep everyone posted.

p.s. this thing is scary.

Post up a video of the car on the dyno or you driving, I think a lot of us are itching to see the potential of the 4g69

Trust me I didn't mess with anything in regards to it. Upon further inspection the freeze plug used by the machine shop was not oem and actually too deep. Due to this it had bottomed out on the casting of the block just under the thermostat housing never allowing the tapered end to go as far in as needed. I installed a second one with the proper tool and due to it initially going in a little crooked from the odd angle of it all it shot out the other day as well. When I found it and inspected it you could clearly see that half of it never seated correctly.

So now after keeping one in the freezer over night, getting some quality sealant, and carefully using a socket and hammer due to it being the only way to get an even impact on the plug considering the given space surrounding it, I'm letting it cure over night.

Only had a little bit of time on the dyno yesterday and it was mainly used for playing with mivec under power but here is a pretty funny vid. Going back tomorrow to start pushing things.
