Evolution 2 wide body for WTA - pic heavy
and finally for now, I removed the old steel 1/4s off by drilling the spot welds out, this should make for a nicer fit of the fibreglass ones.
the f/g ones are 2.2kgs so a big of weight saving along with better tyre clearance.
also while its off I can cover in the wheel arch so air pressure doesn't build up in the boot like it has done in that past, it was like a big sail.

also de-dagged the inside of the head to help with oil return to the sump.

The only thing I can fault is that lockwire, the aircraft mechanic in me feels sad looking at it.
Sorry, I'm just very picky when it comes to lockwire these days as I do it all the time.

yep I should be there depending on when my second child is born (due on the 21st lol)
duly noted mate, far from my finest work
just want to say I really enjoyed reading through this build thread. I am a DSM owner, so obviously EVOs I, II, and III have a special hold on me. Your build reminds me a bit of Alex Grabau's (Dent Sport Garage) EVO here in the States.
thanks mate, I have always liked the pleasure evo, great build.
work continues on fitting the quarters today and then I got over excited and removed the old roof which I didn't plan on doing for some time, another few kgs saved there

I also had an old head chopped up to see if any port improvements could be made
