Thanks mate, the bar was originally the same as the chesters car but has had an extra 50mm added to the bottom half to lower it down. as it sits at ride height now its 48mm off the ground

nice build mate , strange that you couldn't fit 17x9s in the guards, theres plenty of evos in nz with them , good to see a few nz parts on there :P those racefab intake manis are meant to have upto 25kw gains over the factory ones

There is no way a 17x9 will fit under stock guards (without stretched tyres) especially on the back.

The biggest you can fit (again without a stretched tyre) is 7.5" with the right offset (+38- +40ish)

I hope to soon see how well the engine package comes together as we should hit the dyno in the next few weeks hopefully

Stretching the tyres and heaps of camber is a bit of a waste to run wide wheels, why carry the extra weight of a wide wheel when you can't use it.

I'll be happy just being there this year mate

A few updates

New battery

540cca and only 2250 grams!!!!

The power steering pump bracket now works, it just needs a few lightening holes in it and some paint and its done.
We still have to mount the power steering cooler and run the hoses though.

switch panel finally fully completed with labels

matte finished dash board.

the inside is coming together
