I have been on the fence on whether or not to do a turbo kit on the wifes car vs an 18k due to the difficulty of installing a turbo kit on the X. But that curve is extremely convincing.

Sleeved and built motor? I would send it. Should make around or a bit north of 600whp.

Yup, back seat is in. It's been through heavy rain with no issues.

Been busy, setup my Android head unit to be a display for my Racecapture unit. Now I have full logging and visual for all ECU data + external sensors like wideband, fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, etc.

Also has lap timer with predictive timing, all logged into one file off the Race Capture unit and displayed on my Android head unit. I love technology...

It's a SYGAV Android 6.0 Octa-core 2GB RAM unit. Purchased it on Amazon.

Hahha, wait until you see it in action! It's super cool. I'll grab some video soon.

For now, videos from Race Capture:

Did you get the 3G cellular option with your Race Capture package? I'm pricing out the MK3, although I don't currently race, since it could always be moved to another car in the future I'm wonder if I might as well...

Well... this blows....literally.

Went out tonight do some more tuning. I raised the boost a bit to 28 peak and 26 out the top.

Did a pull, it broke up a little at 6500, just a little tug, revved it out to 8100 and then.... I got a windshield full of oil. Ugh.

Dipstick popped out. What a freaking mess. Oil EVERYWHERE.

So somehow the crankcase got pressurized. I'm crossing my fingers the check valve in one of my breather lines failed or stuck open or something and not something worse. Going to look over the car tomorrow.

Car made 556whp on that pull, also maxed out the 1300cc injectors at 100% IDC.

Hoping good thoughts the motor didn't get hurt...

Here is the log of the pull. You'll see a quick 4 count of knock when it broke up a little. I didn't even see the CEL blink for some odd reason.

Let us know how the leak down test and check valve inspection go. Do you know how much oil was left in the pan? Crossing finger on check valve being it. Perhaps that valve cover cap vent with check-valve is in your future!

Well, that's not going to be a fun mess to clean up.

Did you do any upgrades for crank case veniltation? The one pic you posted last week, it looks like you're using the stock vent setup.
