If you really wanted to run AN fittings, STM's Koyo radiator has it's fittings centered, so you don't run into that problem. That's what I'm going to be running.

Thanks for the input. I rather weld this one instead of going thru the hassle of reselling it and getting the rad from STM

Got the fuel setup out of the way today. Refreshed the injectors with new O rings, made a small bracket for the FPR and mounted it behind the IM.

that looks like a buschur fluidyne rad? if so, just wanted to mention that they use -10an hose on there purposely so that they can slow the coolant speed down. This allows for more heat to be extracted from the coolant on each pass. I think it would be more effective for you to move the -an fitting over rather than using standard 35mm hose ends. just my two cents

You talking about the OEM flange and bolts or aftermarket?

Got any input on driving this on the street? The 10an fittings and hoses seem really small for coolant to pass thru, but you mentioned "after each pass" so its a drag strip only radiator? And yea its the fluidyne from buschur

I had the mobile version on, sorry about that. I read through your build thread the other night, by far one of the cleanest. Keep up the good work

Your car looks awesome and very nice build. In your pic of your car next to your buddy's are those your 10" wide wheels ?If so the stance looks perfect , I was expecting the wheels to really stick out further. GLW your car man.

Thanks man. It took alot to make them fit properly, evodave fender mod, rolling the fenders all around, 18mm spacers and extended studs in the front, removed the inner fender liners and its still rubs when doing a full turn

sorry by after "each pass" I meant each time "X" volume of coolant runs through the radiator. Basically it just slows it down so that it has more time for the heat to be pulled out. Fluidyne and Buschur are both very good at what they do, so I dont doubt their methods, just wanted to make sure that you knew thats why they used the smaller fittings. When I first saw it, I thought it was ridiculous too lol. David said that his car with this radiator has a hard time coming up to operating temp, but hes running an electric water pump and no thermostat as well. Are you planning on running AC with this setup? I think if you just cut/plug that fitting and put a -10an over a few inches so that it clears the mount you should be fine.

Oh ok I see what you mean, basically a bottle neck. I dont question their work but I do want some answers as to why they did it, you explained it well. I wont be running AC but I will have a flexalite fan on it.
