The fun started...the block came back from the machine shop. I decided to give it a little paint refresh

Assembly of the new oil pump.

Start block assembly. Also new water pump....why not?

New oil filer housing.

Freshly reassembled block with new copper O-rings.

ARP studs and OEM head gasket...never had any problems with the OEM one.

Thats my fat *** installing the head. Also notice the AN fitting on the side of the block for venting.

Torquing the head.

Lube lube!

New lifters...dont know why...but they were inexpensive.

Bleeding the lifters to make them ready for installation.

Tomei 280 cams and Supertech valve springs and retainers

Upside down to bolt on the "scraper" and oil pan.

Even torqued the oil pan bolts.

Looking nice!!!

All new timing components including gears, tensioner, pullies, all!!! See if you spot the gem!

HKS cam gear with ARP bolt and timing belt. AMS tensioner tool.

Fluidampr pulley with ARP bolt.

Here you can see better the P/S & A/C brackets ceramic coated.

The thermostat housing and cam sensor housings were also coated.

Wastegate and dump tube mounted...also with ARP bolts.

Thats also a brand new lower timing belt cover...they look nice when new!

Ready to mount the AMS F1 intake with Boomba 75mm throttle body.

thats one fat intake!!!

ARP studs for the intake...I hope I dont have to remove this while in the engine bay!!!

PTE 1200cc injectors installed with new seals.

Ready for the AMS fuel rail.

Now this is a cool view from the bottom, too bad this cant be seen. Here you see the AMS intake support bracket and the Legris stainless steel quick disconnects for the vaccum lines.

New Knock sensor.

Installing the reconditioned Quarter Master 8-leg twin-disc clutch.

Hmm, can someone spot whats missing????

Looks awesome! Been a fan of this Evo for a long time. DO you happen to have the part number on those EATON metric AN adapters for the oil feed and return line? Thanks!
