I got the nose on

So I can confirm the following:
Evo 8/9 lower control arms are needed to center wheels
The front wheel opening is much larger and shifted towards the front of the car.
Lancer 02 and 03 hood hinges works with evo hood
Lancer 04 and 05 hood hinges will not work
03-05 Outlander hood latch will work with evo hood
Evo radiator support is needed!

Got the front end sorted out.
Evo 8/9 control arms, 03-05 outlander swaybar end links and the stock lancer swaybar did the job.
I also used 2.5" wheel spacers for the time being until I do the 5 lug conversion.

I can't verify, and I don't know if I dreamed it, but does the Sportback share the pan from an Outlander?

If so the conversion may be a little easier...

Also too, I have a wrecked R/A Sportback that we can pull apart if you want to dissect a car.
I know this is a year old, but do you still have wrecked Ralliart Sportback willing to part out? Or does anyone know of body kits for a 2004 Ralliart Sportback? I need a bumper, but all the body kits are for sedans.

I do, it may be cost prohibitive to ship it to Mississippi. I can take a look at the bumper I have and send some pictures. The only problem I have is that my garage is 100 miles away and I don't get there too often so it may be some time before I can get back to you. I have been following your questions on Facebook, I'm one of the moderators on the Mitsubishi Coupe, Sedan, & Sportback, 1917 - 2006 Facebook page.

I import them myself, the rear garnishes I can get for about $100 shipped to USA, thats for 2 pieces besides the tailights and the 2 behind the glass on the rear quarter panels. The bumpers vary but I can get them to US soil for $300-$400 . I can also bring over lip and skirts for JDM Cedia wagons but these will only fit JDM short bumpers. They will not fit on USDM bumpers. In USA the wagons only came into production at 2004 with the facelift. In japan there wasnt much interest in kitting out the facelift models. There is an abundant of skirts and lips for 2002-2003 mdoels. So If you want to convert your wagon to a Cedia you have to change your front to pre 2004 lancer (hood, fenders and lights) then import the jdm bumpers and skirts.

It will look something like this

Hey, not to sound like I'm ******* on Doncarbone's thread; but the way he did his awd swap isn't the best and there is a much better way to go about it. Use the rear end from an Evo 7-9. Drill the spot welds and weld the Evo floor in place. It will be exactly as the factory intended if you go that route. That's what I did and I documented the swap pretty thoroughly. It's by far the best way to go with these. If you want to do less work though, the USDM wagons are based on the Evo 3 rear end; so you could just go that route. Let me know if you want details. Just post here though rather than pm-ing me. It would be good to get the info out there for people searching. Here's a link to my youtube channel:
