Sooooo it's been over a year without updates and I'm really sorry about that! I took about 9 months off from this project but I've been back at it and taking pictures along the way! So after the front suspension was sorted, I had to finish the cage and then there's the core support/front end. I built everything with removable connections to that in the event I blow the motor on day 2, I can easily pull front end off and then remove the entire drivetrain straight out the front. The upper bar has four bolts, as well as the lower bash bar. In the same fashion as the cage assembly, I went through and MIG tacked everything, then had a friend come behind me with the TIG and finish up the welds.

I like that you're making the front end with remove-able connections.

Where does one source the tubing for the tubular chassis you're making ?

thanks! I buy all of my tubing from either metal supermarkets or ALRO. Everything is either 1.625" .120" wall or 1.25" .120" wall
