How long have you had that new OEM tank. I went to buy one from STM a few days ago and they have been discontinued.

My buddy at House of Power ordered it from the Mitsubishi dealer directly. They were able to get it to me quickly.

Hey everyone...another little update.

The PO finally located images of the car back before the crash so I have them for the inspection...and! I picked up a JDM rear bumper from Daytona Mitsubishi (cannot beat their price)...I finally fixed the SRS light as well. It turned out my driver side front seat belt was faulty. So now, there are no lights on the dash!

Paint is also finally scheduled for November 10! So we're moving along...finally. I'm hoping to have it done and registered/on the road by Christmas.

Here's some more pics in the mean time.

Another little update...

Installed new front/rear sway bar end links, new inner/outer tie rods, and got the car aligned today. Alignment came out about perfect...tracks straight, so, I feel comfortable about any damage from the crash being fixed correctly.

I also cut the tabs from the broken headlight I had and plastic welded them onto my good headlight. It was a stressful job, but, it worked much better than I expected. Its not pretty, but its very strong...and you can't really see the repair when it is installed. This will work until I can get a set of Evo 9 lights down the road.

Anyways...I'm happy with where the car is right now and I truly believe it is ready for paint! Hopefully the next post you see is it coming home from the paint shop.

Thank you! I can't wait to get it back and start assembling it. Its starting to feel real.

Btw...took my e30 to the Tail of the Dragon a couple weeks ago. It made the 1500 mile trip without issue. Here's some Killboy pics and a couple I took if anyone is interested in the meantime. Lol. All I can say is Toyo R1Rs are the most impressive street tire I've ever used and the Evo will be getting a set...and the Evo will be making a trip to the Dragon. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go. The entire area is awesome scenery and fun driving.

I figured I'd add another little update. It should be finished at the paint shop by the end of this week!!! They were in the process of wetsanding/buffing it last time I stopped by.

So...here's some more progress photos!

I also picked up some Evo X wheels that I plan to run when its finished. These won't be permanent, but, it has too much poke for my liking with the RPF1s since I have to run front spacers...so, until I get something else...

Big update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The car was picked up on 12/23 and reassembly has been going steady. I'm down to just a few small details for it to be "done" for now! Anyways...huge photo dump incoming.

Pickup from the paint shop - 12/23/2019. Naturally it poured raining and I had no wipers (RainX ftw!)

And here she is as of today (01/01/2020)! Evo X wheels, 245/40r18 tires, and most exterior bits installed. Still need the window and roof mouldings that I plan to buy new from Mitsubishi. Its nice to finally see it with properly fitting wheels and nice tires.

More to come! Btw...Pixel 4 ftw. I'm pretty impressed with this phone...lol

My buddies had some cool cars in for service at their shop, so, I figured some photos were necessary, even if mine isn't done. lol. The Evo may be the wrong era, but, its still some red JDM good-ness.

Car looks really good! Even the Evo X base wheels don't look terrible on it!
