Haven’t posted on here In a while ... I love when the evo is running perfectly like it is but I miss working on it smh. I’ve been wanting a new non hacked up engine harness so I’ve been looking into a mil-spec harness from OHM racing , here’s the link:

http://www.ohm-racing.com/product/st...-harness-evo-8

Ive purchased some clips and connectors from them with no issues.

Next idea I’ve been toying with is removing the AC since I’ve never used it and pulling everything out of bay again to change the bay to a satin black or a graphite gray color and keep the outside apex silver or just redoing the apex silver with my paint gun setup.

I also want to get Chad /CBRD to custom make me a beautiful hot parts kit because his fab work is amazing. Ugh so many things I want to do.

Pick up a 30 gallon air compressor, hoping to do some better paint work and expand my auto/home tools. Also ordered JMFabrication o2 housing dump and downpipe combo vband, I couldn’t help it my old setup was crap due to bad fab work on flex section.

Got some goodies from JMFabrication, I couldn’t stand my old setup... stripped stud and misaligned downpipe after fab work. Only question is do I get this piece of art ceramic coated lol

So after a lot of back and forth I’m going to sell the car , I just don’t use it enough and it drives and runs perfect so why not let someone else have fun now and I can move on to other life projects. I’ll make a list up soon and get your opinions on what I should even ask for it , thanks for everyone’s help over the years

At the end of the day, you have to do what makes sense. If this car doesn't make you happy anymore, then selling it would equal one less potential issue in your life. You have a very clean car with a lot of thoughtful modifications. This is including a built transmission and transfer case as well as Ohlins coilovers. A 2005 evo 8 has an ACD as well. I personally would list it between $19,000 to $23,000. Higher if you have time to wait for the right buyer. For cars, money in does not equal money out, except for the mods that everyone would have saved for anyway. Nobody in their right mind is going to sit here and argue that OEM shocks are better than those Ohlins. One could argue that OEM Bilsteins are better than megan or k sport coilovers though

Thanks for the the insight I always appreciate it, yea the car is a fun car no doubt but i just don’t have that passion or drive for it anymore. I just want a nice m3 or suv with leather and modern luxury and not smell like exhaust fumes every time I drive the car lol.
Ill Miss the evo for sure and I’m prob gonna try for $25k even if I have to wait.
we will see what happens I suppose.
