Well the evo gods were looking out for me. Glad the crank sensor took a crap. This is what I found when pulled the timing cover. The car is back on the road now continue to get the car tuned

4Gs are pretty crazy motors. I had a GVR4 that had fully destroyed the thrust bearing (something like 0.080" play), shredded the balance shaft belt and wrapped around the timing belt, collapsed the tensioner and jumped 2 teeth on both gears. Still ran somewhat fine. (I bought it this way).
