Invidia Titanium exhaust turned up and damn its light. The system weighs 11.2Ib (5.1kg)

I’m pretty sure I’ve read my fujuitsubo weighs around 26Ib so will be a good weight saving, I’ll double check this afternoon when I fit it.

Fitted the titanium exhaust system and it sits perfect.

My old system actually weighed 26.8Ib (12.2kg) so the total weight saving with this system fitted was 15.6Ib (7kg) so I’m stoked.

It’s a fair bit louder than my old fujitsubo but I was expecting that.

It's not power that determines this, it's airflow relative to maintain the AFR you want. With what you have here should be ok but tuner can measure IPW and confirm

Waiting for my friend to make me the mil spec wiring loom for all my sensors etc.. he’s doing it after work so will take him a few days. Once he’s done that I can fit it along with the ecu and get it tuned.

Meanwhile, I’ve been playing around on Motec display creator and doing all the pages for the dash, I’ve got 3 pages in total:

1 - Road
2 - Track
3 - Info

Had a track day last weekend but it hammered down with rain, the evo was pretty damn good in the wet tho. I kept my ao52’s on instead of the hankook semi slicks so the grip was decent.

Gave the car a wash and cleaned all the suspension & brakes after as the rain gets everything covered in dirt.

Finally got the mil spec loom finished for the link ecu and all of the engine sensors.

I’ll get this installed on the weekend along with all the sensors and then the car will be off to get tuned next week.

Also wired up the two buttons on the steering wheel, one for the horn and the other to change the display page on the Motec dash.

Finally after 9 weeks my PWR intercooler turned up. I didn’t bother going for the massive oversized one as I’m only aiming for 400bhp. I got it fitted when I got home.

Had the first round of my state sprint championships the weekend just gone. I ended up P1 in my class and P6 outright out of 170 cars, I was super happy with the results. Was playing around with the suspension all weekend and decided to up the rear springs by 1kg so have ordered some eibach race springs.

Heavier springs turned up for the rear. Got them in straight away as I’m on track tomorrow, so will be good to see how they feel. I’m now currently running:

Front 675Ib
Rear 800Ib

Had my last practise day for a month or so yesterday. Just to put it into perspective, my PB here was 1:12.78 and that was with brand new hankook z221’s.

I’ve been playing with my suspension the last 3-4 track days, including yesterday and the tyres have since done 180 laps. Last session yesterday I managed a 1:12.17, a good 6 tenths of my PB so I’m quite happy. Still a fair way to go on getting the car dialled in but we’re getting there.

Checking temps off the tyre coming into the pits, the front left was reading:

Outside 89.2°c
Middle 86.8°c
Inside 94.7°c

An 8°c max difference which is not bad, I’ll maybe try to run 1psi higher next time to try and bring the temps more consistent.

Safe to say I got my moneys worth out of these tyres, I’ve ordered some Yokohama AO50’s which I’ll put on when I come back from overseas, there about 3/4 of a second faster as well so that will be interesting to see.

Few pics of the tyres below, and some go pro footage to follow of a session from yesterday

Benny
