Fitted some aerocatches today, forgot how much of a time consuming job this is lol

Also did my final sprint day for the year which was good. Finished 2nd overall with just a second behind to a time attack car with a sequential box which I was happy with.

Very nice. Loving your setup. Simple and proving reliability.

Do you have any videos of track day?

I don’t mate, I’m getting a new camera for track days, my current go pro has lost its focus.

Going to be doing a few bits over the Xmas holidays. Ive ordered some extended ARP wheel studs and some titanium wheel nuts.

Wheel nuts rocked up today. Weight saving is just over half, 520g total and 130g per wheel which is a decent amount of rotating mass saved.

ARP studs should rock up next week then I can start the fun process of swapping them over.

ARP studs turned up in the post today, I got into them as soon as I got in from work.

Got the rears all done, thought I’d do the harder ones first. I just ended up taking off the wheel, caliper, disc & e brake and then undoing the x4 hub bolts. Enough to pull the hub away and slot the new extended studs in.

I’ll crack on with the fronts tomorrow

Got the fronts done today, so much easier than the rears, I think it took me just under an hour to do both fronts.

I put the other Sparco seat in the passenger side a few weeks ago. Also gave the car a wash!

The brakes rocked up today, Alcon club race 343mm kit. Although I am still waiting for the rotors and pads, which should be here at the end of the week.

New top mounts from Nitron in the uk came in the post today, lovely bit of engineering.

Also decided to do a full transmission fluid change ready for year, using genuine Mitsubishi oil I changed the following:

Gearbox
Transfer Box
Rear Diff
AYC

Project Mu pads and Castrol SRF fluid arrived. I went with the Club Racer compound for the rear and the H16-03 compound for the front which is the V8 Supercar compound they use over here in Aus.

I also weighed my old brake setup vs my new brake setup, each side:

Old Setup - 15.5kg
Stock Brembo 4 piston caliper & pads 6.3kg
Vmax 320x28mm grooved single piece disc 9.2kg

New Setup - 12.4kg
Alcon 6380 6 piston race caliper, pads & bracket 4.6kg
Alcon 343x32mm two piece floating disc 7.8kg

A total weight saving of 3.1kg per side which is pretty good, along with a lot more stopping power.
