Are these really going for $22k with a bad ACD pump? Not poking fun, I'm legitimately wondering. My GF is shopping cars and we're thinking of an Evo since there are some nice IXs up for sale right now. We're even thinking about a trip to Texas to pick one up.

 

An ACD rebuild kit is only $100. Rebuilding a small pump isn't a major issue for most buyers in the 11 year old modified Japanese sports car market.

 

Thats if you can rebuild it. sometimes they are too far gone. The rebuild isnt hard should just knock it out to eliminate the issue. glws, clean car otherwise!

 

Possibly. Most of the people I know can barely change their own oil.
