MHI on E85 tuned by Boostin

Had the talented folks at Boostin take care of my care while traveling last week. This included some normal service work as well as a tune on E85.

Car turned out great making 415 whp/355 wtq @ 30 psi on their mustang dyno. Car has all of the normal supporting mods from ETS.

This is as far as I'll go on the stock block at this point. Looking at options for a potential build down the road.

Humongous dyno added!

Car feels amazing. An added bonus is the black smoke that dirtied up the rear of my car at WOT is now gone too.

The lower torque but strong top end of the MHI does match well with the stock block. 30 psi must feel nice, how much boost is it holding at 7k? I'm still on the fence about switching to this turbo over my 20g compressor upgrade versus investing in an EFR7163.

Redline is set to 7800 and according to my gauge holds all the way to redline - although this is hard to be precise on. I don't have a boost plot from Boostin, but will ask. AFR at WOT is 11.4. If I recall, the injectors (1100) are maxed out at this point.

Now I can't decide if I should leave well enough alone or build the motor and go big....

I guess it depends on what you want to mod the car for and funding. Engine builds need to be planned out carefully, I've read too many builds go bad for any number of reasons that it's kind of turned me off from the idea myself.

On E85 it's no big deal if the rest of the tune is dialed in correctly.

So far so good. I still grin from ear to ear, especially through corners WOT.

I also don't put many miles on it so hopefully that prolongs things until I decide to build. This year I've only logged 900 miles. I store it from Oct 1 - Apr 1. I'm aware the inevitable may happen at any time, hence having a DD and being able to turn it up a bit on the X.
