3rd time around

<br >
3rd time being worked on but now by a different shop. Valve height was in spec but a little high so they fixed that. The r2 cams have even more lift than an s3 so this is a very sensitive cam to work with when the head has been machined. Just waiting on a head gasket now.

Almost there

Great news! Threw the head on for the third time and it started right up. It was running at about 10.0 afr so I had to shut it down but at least it's running. Once my flex fuel system gets her next week I'll be shipping the car off to English Racing to get it checked out and tuned!

Light at the end of the tunnel

Finally got the car down to English Racing yesterday. They won't be getting to the car until the week of the 20th but that's fine. I'm just happy the car is getting closer to completion. Excited to see what Myles' integra does at pikes peak with the 6870 and nos haha.

Oh man.... I'm sitting here waiting for my Buschur racing block to show up... The wait is killing me and reading people's build threads is the only thing occupying my time lol How long from ordering yours and shipping your block in did it take for you to get yours?

Thanks! The flex fuel system is sold by English Racing and Tscomptuned for $600.
They get it from a company out of Finland. It is still spendy but much less than going out and buying an AEM V.2 ECU to run flex fuel. Here is some more info on it.

I sent mine off in November so they weren't swamped like they usually are in spring/summer time. I had it back in about 2-3 weeks if I remember right.

Yeah I'm expecting closer to 4-5 weeks. I'm already on week 2.

Should be about another week until English gets to my car because of the Pikes Peak race this weekend, but my car did get to make an appearance in one of Myles' pictures haha.

Just a random picture bump. Still waiting for a couple bugs to be figured out by English. Mivec isn't working and injectors are putting too much fuel in the engine. Aaron leaned them out even less than he does for a 2.0 just to get it to run. Bought them used so maybe they just need cleaned or something simple. Mivec probably just needs blown out or maybe the solenoid valve stopped working. Who knows. Simple stuff but annoying.
