You should see if you can find an old style mhi twin scroll exhaust housing for it. Those new ones suck.

On a 2.3 it'll be fine. It'll probably hit peak boost in the 4500-5k range and make close to 700 on E85. English made 640 with 2.3 running a single scroll red on c16.

That's the only difference I was noting, the spool is slow. My 2.3 spools before 4k with the mhi housing.

More parts came in today, which makes it a good day! Very happy about the nitride finish on the GSC R2 cams for some reason. A Buschur baffled oem oil pan arrived as well.

The billet GSC's are so sexy. Such a shame to hide them under the valve cover lol. I feel the same way about billet cranks.

I agree lol. If someone made an acrylic valve cover though, it would look pretty gnarly with all the moving parts and oil splashing everywhere.

Just curious...are you picking Rick or just going with Rick?

I guess the Reese shop is no longer? Spent the day down there a few years ago & have heard some of the stories
One of Reese tunes just won 2nd place at MOD...lost to English Racing

912 hp / 693 tq < highest tq tho..

Reese is actually offering dyno tuning Sept 10th at RRE.

"While I was in there I replaced the passenger side airbag due to the recall. Now I can take my gf around town with one less thing to worry about."

How did you go about this? Did you take the recalled airbag into Mitsu & they handed you a new one?

I was kind of annoyed with the Dyno comp at MOD. Muellerized got 3rd with like 480whp and won a Zeitronix ZT2 setup. I could've put my car on the dyno and easily put down 550...sigh.

Thanks!

Picking Rick since he did my last tune and it was solid. I've been tuned by Scott and Rick at RRE, both tunes were awesome. I would be happy with either of their tunes.

I took the whole dash to Mitsu You should have seen the look on the service managers face when I brought it in. I called 4 different dealerships and this is the only one that would do it for me. The convo went something like this:
_____________________________________

Service person: "Thank you for calling ************* Mitsubishi, how can I help you?"

Me: "Hey man, i'm going to have to ask you for a big personal favor in regards to my car."

Service person:"Yes sir, not a problem, what's wrong ? "

Me with my Bullsh!@ statement: "I'm in the process of turning my track car into a street legal car again, but I don't want to drive it to you guys without proper registration and I don't have the funds to tow it. I'm aware that there has been an airbag recall and the car is already apart. May I please bring you guys the dash so that you may replace the passenger side airbag? I'll take care of installation."

Service person: "Ok, i'll have to ask for regional manager approval and you will have to sign some paperwork, is that ok?"

Me: "Yes, absolutely."

_______________________________________________

Later that day, he calls me back and tells me they can do it and schedules me an appointment. A week after that I have the dash in the car like nothing ever happened.

I don't expect this to work for everybody, but it is possible.
