fuel pump rewire question
A switched source is a circuit that only gets power when you turn the ignition key to run. The hob switch needs a boost source, so you will want to install that under the hood, so you will have to run a wire from the relay to the hob switch, then to ground. It might be a good idea to add a small 5 amp fuse to the hob circuit too where ever you tap that in.
That's the wrong way to do it.
It's either on or off and at low load you'll be outflowing the reg.
Full of fail.
I am going to guess by his statement he feels you should purchase an FPR to actually regulate the higher pressures instead of sneaking around the regulation with a on/off switch for full flow. Just conjecture though.
There is an old saying, "Cheap, Fast, Reliable, pick two".

If you are broke then don't throw money at the car. Take your time, do research, then act once you have saved up enough to afford what you are doing, with out putting yourself or family out.
If you look at the spoolinup link to the hobbs switch i posted it actually shows you the correct way to wire it. As far as On/Off goes, the Ecu switches between two modes, low voltage and full voltage. All you are trying to do with the additional circuit is reduce resistance in full voltage mode by adding in more wire. Rightsaid fred generally just goes around **** posting so you can pretty much ignore him.
