Evo 9 problems
Unless the dealer was a Mitsubishi dealer I doubt they knew anything about the car. A salesman will tell you what they think you want to hear.
As for oil in the intake, that's rather normal. The valve cover vents to the intake. Usually though, the oil you find there looks clean. I think oil comes over as vapor and then recondenses. The oil in the photograph looks more like crankcase oil. I'm not sure what that means but it makes me curious.
I think your next job is boost leak test.

I just watched your 1st video again. It's too lean. All I can think of is to clean your air flow sensor.
Take a few pictures under your hood and post for us. Maybe something will stand out.

Yup. I just did some digging on turbo leaking oil. Try to vent the your valve cover to air and see if your oil leak goes away. If you have too much blowby and your intake isn't relieving it (I think it is only 3/8"), you get pressure in crankcase which can stop your oil from draining your turbo. Then the extra oil pressure can force its way into your compressor housing.

Probably not going to be his problem no the stock turbo. If crank case pressure was causing the smoke, he's have much a much larger problem.
