yah im thinking maybe your picture is upside down, or the diagram is, having done countless car alarms in my 20's that wouldn't surprise me at all. I would usually orient the diagram based on the colors of the wires and their known positions in the connector. So if that brown is second from the left in your picture then that would match if you flipped the diagram 180 degrees.
My picture is rightside up. I took it through the 2 dummy switch covers.
The left schematic is rotated 180 upside down.
Yah and then when you are already upside down under the dash trying to read one of these diagrams while you work you can see how easy it is to get screwed up. Thats why i said i just locate a known color in a known position to orient the diagram. Its a nice sanity check before you start hacking into the harness
Totally agree! Thanks for the insanity check!
I needed that!!

If you guys haven't done this yet consider swapping Relay #2 with Intercooler Spray Relay. Intercooler relay is probably as good as new, so retire your Relay #2 to intercooler duties.
Could we not use pin 39 for fuel pump speed to activate the relay instead of a hobs switch?
Where are you seeing pin 39? This?:

To follow that up here is an image, circled in red is the only 16 pin connector on the ecu C-119 and in pink is pin 39.
